1. POSITION(S) VACANT: Program Coordinator - Stop Child Labour India Platform, Innovative Change Collaborative Services Pvt. Ltd. (ICCSPL), New Delhi

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

(1) Provide program inputs based on reports, partner visits and changes in the external environment;

(2) Support planning with focus on developing detailed implementation plans;

(3) Coordinate the implementation of Stop Child Labour programs;

(4) Work jointly with Program and Finance team to ensure smooth program management;

(5) Ensure quality and timely reporting of projects activities in compliance with internal as well as any relevant external donor requirements;

(6) Contribute to program updates for external as well as internal communication as and

when required;

(7) Initiate and support capacity building initiatives including selection of capacity building providers;

(8) Support Program Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning and conduct regular field visits to programme areas to contribute to programme monitoring;

(9) Maintain a complete database as well as communication with partners and stakeholders relevant to the program;

(10) Support Line Manager in monitoring of partnerships in India and serve as a liaison between partners and stakeholders

(11) Ensure Program documentation and communication with internal and external stakeholders;

(12) Support the planning and implementation of workshops, undertake related

documentation and communication for events related to the program;

(13) Represent ICCSPL at relevant conferences, events and common platforms;

(14) Support and engage with team in institutional fundraising;

(15) Any other tasks, relevant to the role, assigned by supervisor from time to time.
 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:  

Qualification:
(1) Applicants must have relevant Post Graduation in social work, social sciences, development or any other relevant field;

(2) Any Graduate degree with exceptional relevant and significant work experience shall also be considered.
 

Experience:
(1) Minimum three to five years of experience in providing program support to child protection/ child rights/ related development and humanitarian programs with INGOs;

(2) Experience in successfully establishing and managing collaborative relationships and partnerships with donors and government counterparts;

(3) Experience of working with multiple stakeholders such as government and development organisations, local partners, children, schoolteachers, parents and community members on child protection policies.
 
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Strong understanding of Child Protection policies, principles and practice;

(2) Good knowledge of the social, economic and political situation of the country;
(3) Adequate knowledge of National policies and Acts and global level policies;
(4) Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
(5) Demonstrable cultural awareness;
(6) Good communication skills, including cross sectoral and international actor communication;
(7) Strong representation and influencing skills;
(8) Demonstrable tenacity to succeed in a highly matrixed global organization;
(9) Ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple way;
(10) Excellent report writing skills, presentation and influencing skills;
(11) Strong ability to speak the right language with diverse stakeholders;
(12) Strong understanding of different methodologies of monitoring and evaluation, operational research and experience in developing integrated MEAL systems;
(13) Excellent ability to effectively establish a learning culture within an organisation;
(14) Strong representation and influencing skills.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation for the position is Rs. 7.2 lacs per annum. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.

6. LOCATION: New Delhi with travel to project locations.


7. APPOINTMENT: The initial contract will be offered for a period of one year and shall be renewable based on performance.
