1. POSITIONS VACANT: Admin Assistant- Finance, Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) India, New Delhi

2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:

The Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), is established in India as an independent, non-profit, created under Section 8 (Indian) Companies Act, 2013, with its office in New Delhi. FIND India is the key implementing partner of Central TB Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, for strengthening and expanding TB laboratory diagnostic capacity under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) with the support of the Global Fund.

FIND India is a subsidiary of FIND, an international non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. The organization is dedicated to activities that result in: 1) new diagnostic tools; 2) expanded access to these tools; and 3) strengthened diagnostic testing capacity for poverty-related diseases in low-and middle-income countries.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Finance Officer, the Admin Assistant- Finance shall be responsible for providing support in audits, accounting, fillings, financial reporting, financial system implementation to support procurement related activities including the planned PPE procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

(A) Accounting under Navision
(1) Ensure bifurcation of indirect taxes paid under various heads;

(2) Ensure entry in Navision on daily basis;
(3) Ensure adjustment in relation to advances paid, etc.;

(B) Procurement (including PPE Procurement) and Document Management

(1) Receive soft copy and hard copy of the procurement related vouchers;
(2) Verify the expenditure details with original bills;
(3) Ensure record retention of vouchers;

(C) Monthly Report
(1) Entry of receipts in Navision;
(2) Bank Reconciliation on monthly basis;
(3) Create TDS details, and reconciliation and submit to Sr Admin Finance for further processing;

(D) Audit
(1) Assist with financial statement during audit;
(2) Provide various types of schedules to the audit;
(3) Prepare final accounts for the audit;

(E) Statutory Records Keeping
(1) Assist with filing bank statement in designated file;
(2) Assist with filing monthly TDS challans, returns in proper file;
(3) Keep all audit reports in their designated file;
(4) Keep all agreements/ SOPs;

Other duties, as assigned by the Line Manager from time to time.

4. QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 
     

Qualifications and Experience:

(1) Applicant must be graduate in commerce with minimum five years of relevant experience;
(2) Applicant with Master’s in finance/ Master’s in commerce/ CA/ ICWA/ CS (Intermediate) with three years of relevant experience shall be given preference;
(3) Knowledge of accounting software in Navision would be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies
(1) Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point) is must;
(2) Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks under time constraints;
(3) Ability to communicate effectively in English and Hindi;
(4) Ability to multi-task, along with a strong, result-oriented approach;
(5) High level of integrity and honesty;

7. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

The gross remuneration budgeted for the position is attractive and shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience, and salary history, of the selected candidate.

8. CONTRACT TYPE AND PERIOD:

The successful candidate shall be issued an employment contract from the date of joining till June 30, 2021, and shall be renewable subject to satisfactory performance, project extension and fund availability.
