1. POSITION VACANT: Associate- Fundraising, India Health Fund, Mumbai


2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:

India Health Fund (IHF) is a collaborative initiative of the Tata Trusts and the Global Fund, leveraging the power of collective impact and catalyzing India’s fight against infectious diseases.

IHF was conceived to accelerate India’s progress in the elimination of infectious diseases, in alignment with the objectives of the Government of India and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). IHF supports the development of breakthrough solutions that help accelerate the eradication of infectious diseases, apart from aggregating funds and deploying resources, to finance their development, with a view to enabling better outcomes in the diagnosis, treatment, control and monitoring of infectious diseases.

Key collaborators of the IHF include central and state government agencies, philanthropists, civil society organisations, incubators, start-ups, knowledge institutions, technical partners, business leaders, corporations.

Focus areas for IHF comprise:

(a) Prevention: Infection control and vector control

(b) Screening: For communicable/ non-communicable diseases and co-morbidities
(c) Diagnostics: Solutions, capability, and infrastructure
(d) Treatment and Patient Pathways: At point of care and remote access
(e) Surveillance and analytics

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Associate shall be a part of the Fundraising/ Partnership Team and provide support in formulating and executing fundraising strategy for IHF and grantee partners.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
(1) Assist in creating tailored products for investments across different types of funders;
(2) Provide support in fundraising efforts for IHF by engaging with external stakeholders, creating pitch decks and investment strategies;
(3) Provide support in creating data backed investment strategies for IHF and IHF’s grantee partners;
(4) Work on supporting multiple projects across IHF, with a specific focus on fundraising and partnerships;


4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications:

(1) Applicants must possess a Bachelors’ degree from a reputed institution;
(2) Master’s degree in a relevant discipline shall be an advantage.

Experience:
Minimum two to four years of demonstrated experience in managing multiple stakeholders, fundraising and forging partnerships;


Skills and Competencies:
(1) Written and Communication skills: Demonstrated ability to bring structure to written and verbal content; Experience in writing whitepapers, concept notes, research reports.
(2) Project Management: Ability to manage cross-functional projects with strict adherence to timelines and goals; Exposure to working on multi-stakeholder project is a must;

(3) Research and Data analysis: Ability to conduct market landscape studies, identify and propose recommendations that are backed by data; Experience with basic research methodologies is needed;
(4) Fundraising: Experience in managing funders, raising funds for organizations and relationship management;
(5) Stakeholder management: Engagement with external stakeholders based on sector knowledge and trust. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders for different projects;
(6) Interest in healthcare, innovations and innovative finance is needed.


5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position, is between Rs. 7 to 8 lacs per annum. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
