2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
India Health Fund (IHF) is a collaborative initiative of the Tata Trusts and the Global Fund, leveraging the power of collective impact and catalyzing India’s fight against infectious diseases.
IHF was conceived to accelerate India’s progress in the elimination of infectious diseases, in alignment with the objectives of the Government of India and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). IHF supports the development of breakthrough solutions that help accelerate the eradication of infectious diseases, apart from aggregating funds and deploying resources, to finance their development, with a view to enabling better outcomes in the diagnosis, treatment, control and monitoring of infectious diseases.
Key collaborators of the IHF include central and state government agencies, philanthropists, civil society organisations, incubators, start-ups, knowledge institutions, technical partners, business leaders, corporations.
Focus areas for IHF comprise:
(a) Prevention: Infection control and vector control
(b) Screening: For communicable/ non-communicable diseases and co-morbidities
(c) Diagnostics: Solutions, capability, and infrastructure
(d) Treatment and Patient Pathways: At point of care and remote access

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate (Strategy & Partnerships Team) shall be a part of the Strategy & Partnerships (S&P) Team and be primarily responsible for assisting in the management, growth and development of strategic relationships with both existing and new donors. The post holder shall also be responsible for assessing and building a pipeline of new partners to support the S&P Team.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
(1) Maintain and deepen relationships with existing partners, source new partners and execute exciting partnership solutions;
(2) Establish a systematic process for partner outreach and relationship management;
(3) Assist in managing relationships with funders, peer organizations, and other partners;
(4) Engage and develop strategies that maximise relationships;
(5) Assist in developing high quality proposals;
(6) Undertake monthly data mining and production of reports to drive partnership strategy;
(7) Provide a detailed report on progress made vis-a-vis partnership objectives;
(8) Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of sustainable relationships;
(9) Develop briefings, presentations and customized collateral in collaboration with the S&P Team;
(10) Undertake any other duties, as appropriate for the role.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications:
(1) Applicants must possess a Bachelors’ degree from a reputed institution;
(2) Master’s degree in a relevant discipline shall be an advantage.
Experience:
(1) Minimum two to three years’ experience in supporting team(s) involved in strategy, partnerships and relationship management;
(2) Experience in supporting fundraising/ partnership team(s), in the non- profit sector, with focus on facilitating collaboration with philanthropists, civil society organisations, incubators, start-ups, knowledge institutions, technical partners, business leaders and corporations, is highly desirable;
(3) Experience in organizing events/campaigns shall be preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Demonstrable expertise in the integration of information from different sources;
(2) Demonstrated ability to undertake structured, logical thinking;
(3) Should possess qualitative research and analytical skills, including the ability to undertake meta-analysis;
(4) Excellent writing, research and communication skills;
(5) Ability to collaborate effectively;
(6) Knowledge of the relevant external environment.;
(7) Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills;
(8) Ability to develop and manage relationships;
(9) Effective communication skills in English and Hindi;
(10) Demonstrable sense of humor and patience.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position, is between Rs. 7 to 8 lacs per annum. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
