1. POSITION(S) VACANT: Program Associate, International Non-profit Organisation (INPO), New Delhi
2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected, INPO, that works across the globe in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, with an emphasis on safe childbirth.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Programme Coordinator, the Program Associate (PA) shall be responsible for providing programmatic and administrative support to various projects/programs of the INPO.
Key Deliverables:
(1) Provide administration and implementation of program strategies, adapt processes and procedures;
(2) Compile data and information on subject matters relevant to the work of the unit to facilitate the preparation of reports, working papers, and presentations;
(3) Preparation of project documents drafts, work plans, budgets, and proposals on implementation arrangements including support on budget preparation/revision;
(4) Undertake all logistical, administrative, and financial arrangements;
(5) Analysis of information on donors, preparation of donor’s profile and database, the establishment of contacts with donor counterparts;
(6) Assisting in coordinating and managing dedicated client meetings including organizing team meetings, preparing minutes, coordinating conference room bookings, and ensuring room preparedness for meetings;
(7) Assist in the archiving, filing, and maintenance of up-to-date electronic mailing lists on program and technical matters;
(8) Gather and share information as needed in support of improving the processes and daily operations of the section;
(9) Support the processing of contracts for consultants and external partners pertaining to the section;
(10) Generate financial and programmatic Atlas and Cognos reports for the program as required;
(11) Perform any other relevant duties as may be required by the supervisor.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
(1) Applicants must be graduates. Applicants with a Masters’ degree shall be given an advantage.
Experience:
(1) Six years of relevant experience in program/ project support and management;
(2) Experience in working with financial and spreadsheet software;
(3) Experience with international non-profits or the UN Systems shall be an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, and database packages;
(2) Knowledge of ERP, PeopleSoft or other web-based integrated systems required
(3) Proficiency in computer technologies such as word processing and spreadsheet software;
(4) Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English.
5. REMEUNERATION & PER DIEMS:
The gross remuneration budgeted for the position is attractive. The offer shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience, and salary history, of the selected candidate.
