3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director - HR, the HR Associate (HRA) shall be responsible for managing HR and recruitment related responsibilities within the organization with emphasis on the following:
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
(1) Forecast hiring needs;
(2) Collaborate with Hiring Managers to finalize Job Descriptions;
(3) Publish vacancy announcements on job portals and other social media platforms;
(4) Prepare hiring plans with timelines, associated activities, and costs;
(5) Source best talent based on qualifications and experience;
(6) Manage the entire recruitment process which shall include screening, interview scheduling, salary negotiation, reference checking, offer creation and documentation;
(7) Make necessary arrangements to manage interviews including coordination with interview panellists, managing schedules, and making necessary travel arrangements;
(8) Maintain applicants databases; Prepare MIS reports relating to the recruitments;
(9) Manage onboarding and new staff orientation;
(10) Update staff database;
(11) Manage consultancy contracts for staff hired on third-party payroll;
(12) Conduct a market study to understand best practices with respect to recruitment;
(13) Manage employer branding activities;
(14) Motivate employees to be brand ambassadors and successfully pursue employee referral programs for sourcing talent;
(15) Provide support to the onboarding and induction process;
(16) Assist in employee engagement initiatives;
(17) Any other job assigned by the supervisor.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Masters in HR or related field, with three to five years of experience in HR, recruitment and relevant areas;
(2) Familiarity with the development sector shall be an advantage.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
(1) Attention to detail and accuracy;
(2) Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks under strict timelines;
(3) Ability to maintain confidentiality;
(4) Punctuality;
(5) Good written and oral communication skills in English;
(6) Proficiency in MS Office with special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint;
(7) Ability to work in a multicultural work environment.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
