3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Programme Coordinator shall support the development of EV100 in India. Over 125 of world's leading companies across over 80 markets have joined EV100 committing to transition 5 million+ ICE vehicles and move to EVs by 2030. Thirteen India-headquartered companies are part of EV100.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, Transport, India, the Programme Coordinator (PC) shall work with businesses to accelerate the transition to electrified and clean transport.

Key Job Responsibilities:

(A) Project Coordination Support:
(1) Support the team in developing and executing the ‘Electrification of Last Mile Delivery Vehicles’ project and support allied EV100 strategies and its expansion in India;
(2)
Support the team in member company engagement to understand priorities and goals;
(3) Contribute to organizational knowledge through market research, articles, and blogs;
(4) Support the Programme Manager to prepare monthly and quarterly operational plans with goals, strategies, and initiatives;
(5) Liaise with internal stakeholders such as global functional teams including Programmes, Communications, Fundraising and Finance, as may be needed under the project;
(6) Help in maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders such as India-based partners including business associations, civil society, NGOs, think tanks and others;
(7) Provide administrative support to the team on EV100+, RE100, EP100, and SteelZero in India, as may be required.

 

(B) Fundraising and Finance:
(1) Support the team in fundraising efforts through content/ concept notes and partner engagements, on subjects and initiatives as identified by the manager;
(2) Support in producing funder contracts/reports and ensure compliance with contracting norms;
(3) Support the Programme Manager in financial reporting and budget forecasting related to areas of responsibility, and ensure regular and timely payment against deliverables;
(4) Monitor and ensure funder requirements are fully complied with, proactively identifying potential problems and escalating to the Programme Manager.

 

(C) Communications and Events:
(1) Support the delivery of project meetings, workshops, and conferences;
(2) Work with India and the global team to ensure that communications and events align and support the aims of the project and the team’s mission;
(3) Provide support in ensuring effective external communication of the programmes and their impacts through articles, blogs, Twitter feeds, LinkedIn etc. with support from India and global communications teams;
(4) Represent the organization when required to external stakeholders in conference calls and conferences.

 

(D) Other responsibilities:
(1) Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and reporting of projects and programmes;
(2) Undertake other related tasks, including administration, as and when required;
(3) Contribute by helping the team in preparing actions for larger India and international organizational strategies;
(4) Work flexibly as and when required, e.g., for events and major media moments, and as part of a team crossing international time zones.

 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification:

Applicants must have a relevant qualification aligned with the role.
 

Experience:
(1) Applicants must have demonstrated, in-depth experience of working in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and energy efficiency projects in India;
(2) Experience of project delivery, including engaging partners with good negotiation skills;
(3) Experience in managing workshops, writing reports, policy briefs etc;
(4) Prior experience of working with Indian corporations and businesses, and engagement with their management, for example C-suite;
(5) Working relationships in the electric vehicles, renewable energy and energy efficiency space with Central and State Government agencies, research organizations, civil society, NGOs etc;
(6) Prior experience of working with a mission-led and impact-driven organizations shall be desirable;

(7) Exposure to fundraising/ proposal writing and donor interaction shall be desirable;
(8) Understanding of sustainability, global development issues and the climate change agenda


Skills and Competencies:

(1) Commitment to the mission of the Climate Group and EV100;
(2) Attention to detail and strong analytical skills;
(4) Fluent written and spoken English;
(5) Awareness of basic financial terms, reporting and budgets;
(6) Competent user of MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
(7) Ability to multi-task in small team, manage conflicting priorities and be a strong team player under pressure. Undertake other programmematic tasks as and when required;
(8) Proactive learner and ability to take on new roles;
(9) Knowledge of project management software like Salesforce/ FinancialForce


5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position is between INR 7,51,700 – INR 9,29,060 per annum, based on experience.

Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

6. APPOINTMENT: This is a full-time fixed 12-month position, with the possibility of renewal linked to project funding.

8. MODE OF WORKING: Flexible and hybrid (Three days from the office and two days from home). Domestic travel may be required.
