3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Executive Director, The M&E Coordinator is responsible for monitoring & evaluation and database management for RAHI. In consultation with thematic experts/ program teams, s/he will work on developing a set of measurement indicators & metrics, designing appropriate tools and systems; applying those in the field and informing the management team on program successes, areas of improvement & results achieved by RAHI programs. The position will also establish linkages and liaison with nutrition-related agencies & government departments to enhance program capacity on the ground.

Key Job Responsibilities:

(1) Develop program monitoring and reporting framework for Rise Against Hunger India program pillars

(2)  Develop a set quantitative and qualitative tools/techniques along with manuals/ guidelines to be used for field level data collection

(3) In consultation with the Program team and subject matter experts, identify indicators that need to be measured, monitored, and reported against

(4) Create data management system and install required tools, technology & software for the same across Rise Against Hunger India field locations

(5) Institutionalize data collection, analysis, and reporting processes by building capacity of the program and project units

(6) Design dashboards to capture the household and community level progress against key program indicators on livelihoods, food security, nutrition, health, and other relevant domains

(7) Summarize learning outcomes on projects/programs based on evidence collected from the field, prepare learning documents for internal and external sharing

(8) Install systems and processes that can provide donor specific inputs for reporting on grant funded projects, submit grant-specific data for donor reporting

(9) Provide inputs in the form of charts, graphs, and narrative data for quarterly and annual reports

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification and Experience

(1) Master’s degree in any discipline with five years of experience in data management, monitoring and data analytics;

(2) Must have first-hand experience in designing survey questionnaires, conducting field level data-collection, and developing reports using latest analytical tools and software

(3) Prior M&E experience in nutrition, food security, and livelihoods shall be given preference

Skills and Competencies

(1) Tech savvy with a strong data sense and number management;

(2) Data analysis and interpretation;

(3) Ability to articulate and present data in a clear, simplified, and concise manner;

(4) Evaluative thinking but non-judgmental mindset;

(5) Must have a good grasp of qualitative survey and data collection technique.
 

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
 

Gross compensation for the position ranges from Rs. 10 lacs per annum. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
