3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Manager- Communications, the Senior Executive – Graphics and DTP Designer, will be tasked with designing visual aids in line with AEEE’s work on different sectors, focused on Energy Efficiency, standardization of all collaterals - both internal and external, including research reports, presentations, and annual reports, designing monthly or programmatic newsletters, and updating AEEE’s website identities, etc.

Key Job Responsibilities:
 

(A) Graphics and DTP Designing:

(1) Managing and quality controlling the layout and design of technical reports;
(2) Creating infographics, reports and multimedia content for various uses;
(3) Editing and updating existing brochures and external products with priority designing;
(4) Maintaining up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques;
(5) Working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel), as well as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro), and other related software or digital tools;
(6) Assisting with ad-hoc design and layout tasks as required;
(7) Maintain a set of design best practices and guidelines to reduce and minimize production efforts;
(8) Producing creative assets, including graphics, templates, layouts, and visual standards for marketing activities across multiple channels. These include web, social media, events, email campaigns, and other activations;
(9) Supporting design work using insights from quantitative data, site metrics, segmentation, and feedback;

(B) Web:

(1) Designing, developing and maintaining WordPress-based landing pages, Microsites and a variety of miscellaneous development tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish;
(2) Having a detailed knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO.

(C) Video Editing:

(1) Delivering Short-form graphics/photo-based videos (motion graphics based);
(2) Delivering Short-form footage-based videos with name straps, on-screen animated text (quotes), standard intro + outro slides, and transitions;
(3) Editing videos, designing thumbnails, and uploading them on the YouTube channel.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification
(1) The applicant must be a graduate/ post-graduate in any field of study, with Diploma/ Degree in Graphics, Animation & Designing

Experience
(1) At least 5-8 years of work experience as a Graphics & DTP designer, ideally with 2 year+ experience in a professional consultancy firm, NGO, Diplomatic Mission, Government or Government empanelled agency;
(2) Knowledge of design conventions and skills in MS Word, PPT, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Stripo email, Sendinblue, etc.
(3) Digital platform design experience and understanding of cross-platform design guidelines.

Skills and Competencies
(1) Proven advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word (ability to make and edit templates), PowerPoint (ability to produce editable graphics and templates);
(2) Professional knowledge of industry processes, e.g., professional printing/binding;
(3) Proven skills in typography and layout;
(4) Exceptional attention to detail;
(5) Good written and verbal communication skills;
(6) Ability to work against tight deadlines;

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
