3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

STCI is looking for a hands-on, goal-oriented, and high-energy corporate fundraising professional, to ensure continuing momentum to the organization’s programming growth plans, aggressively raising funds from national and multinational corporations and stewarding/ managing relationships.

Reporting to the Director Resource Mobilization, the Deputy Director Corporate Partnerships (DDCP) shall be responsible for growing restricted and unrestricted funding from the domestic and international corporate sector, positioning STCI as the partner of choice to make beneficial changes to the lives of the most marginalized children in the country.

The DDCP shall also be responsible for achieving revenue targets and ensuring that account management strategies that include donor engagement and relationship management plans are in place for both existing high-priority and new donors. This is a key, strategic role, enabling STCI to sustain and grow its high impact and respected programmes, transforming the lives of lakhs of vulnerable children across the country.

Key Job Responsibilities:

(1) Provide overall leadership for STCI's corporate sector positioning and fundraising, driving focus on the geographic and thematic big ideas in the organization's strategy;
(2) Ensure strategies for top priority current and new accounts are in place which include donor engagement and intelligence/ gathering plans and that staff accountabilities (RM and other) in pursuing and delivering on those portfolios to sustain and enhance STCI’s reputation with those donors;
(3) Partner actively with New Business Development to ensure that the corporate partnerships team uses available tools and actively contributes to prioritizing opportunities in line with the organization's strategy;
(4) Set and meet new fundraising targets from the corporate sector by leveraging existing donors and forging new partnerships;
(5) Provide leadership on effective end-to-end donor relationships management, partnering closely with awards, finance, and thematic teams;
(7) Actively collaborate with other members on multinational corporates;
(8) Work with the Head of Growth Initiatives, Corporate Engagement Center, as needed on nontraditional partnerships with the corporate sector;
(9) Manage a large team of professionals, located across the country, to achieve departmental goals, and grow talent through learning and development and performance management.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification

Applicants must have a post-graduate degree in business management with a specialization in sales and marketing.

Experience
(1) 12-15 years of experience in corporate fundraising, of which at least three should be in senior, team management roles;
(2)
Demonstrated experience of annual fundraising around Rs. 50 crores, from reputed national and multinational corporations.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
