3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

STCI is looking for a hands-on, goal-oriented, and accomplished fundraising professional, to ensure continuing momentum to its programming growth plans, by steering/ managing and effecting improvements to the organization’s time-tested and highly successful, individual fundraising programs.

Reporting to the Deputy Director Individual Giving (DDIG), the Head Individual Giving (HIG) shall be a key member of the Resource Mobilization Team, responsible for helping achieve the organization’s goals by gathering voluntary contributions from individuals, through different strategies including direct acquisitions, TV ads, digital, social media promotions, retention, etc. S/he will be committed to raising funds to support STCI programs and maintaining excellent relationships with donors/ givers.

The HIG shall also oversee collaboration with existing vendors as well as partnering with new agencies, to ensure cost-effective, quality and smooth functioning across all channels and locations.

Key Job Responsibilities
(1) Manage both the operations process, embracing design, planning, control, performance improvement, and operations strategy;

(2) Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of Channel Managers for Face 2 Face, Telecalling, DRTV, Digital and Retention;
(3) Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures, including strategy documents and annual operation plans. Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing across all channels and locations under the Individual Giving function;
(4) Collaboration with other functional areas within the organization such as marketing, finance, and accounts, whose roles have an impact on operations;
(5) Identify and address problems and opportunities for the organization;
(6) Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
(7) Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations:
(8) Ensure effective and low-cost resource management, through the oversight of off roll employees and the vendors/ agencies associated with the different functions of the Individual Giving Department; Ensure smooth functioning and cost management of call centers, field staff and backend staff, without compromising on quality and deadlines;
(8) Contribute to the development and integration of new processes, as appropriate;
(9) Network with STCI to share ideas and leverage best practices from other offices.


4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification

Applicants must have a post-graduate degree in business management with a specialization in sales and marketing.

Experience
(1) Minimum 8-10 years of experience in individual fundraising;
(2)
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing third-party fundraising agencies.

Skills and Knowledge

Technical

(1) Ability to manage cost without compromising on quality through efficient operations management;

(2) Working knowledge of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management;
(3) Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees;
(4) Understanding of legal and regulatory documents executed in the area of operations;
(5) Thorough understanding of MS Office applications and financial management;
(6) Self-motivated, mentally strong leader with an ability to inspire team members and guide them to work in cohesion.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
